Founder: Spencer Williams
Spencer started The Broadway Critic Blog in November 2009 and has loved every second writing about theatre in the Bay Area, Las Vegas, London and of course, Broadway. He frequents New York City often and loves seeing and promoting great theatre!
Spencer attended Boston University where he received his Master’s in Music Education and teaches choir & musical theatre at Pinewood School – an independent private school in the Bay Area. His favorite part of the blog is the interaction and friends he has met from all over the world! Keep theatre alive by supporting it, talking about it and telling others about it.

Mitchell Stevko is a professional singer (on occasion), and avid musical theatre enthusiast for over 4 decades. He was formerly chairman of the board of BlueBearMusic.org, “The Original School of Rock”, where he helped develop and promote programs that enabled over 10,000 kids experience the joy of music. He has seen over 100 different equity stage musicals, over 100 film musicals, and owns over 300 musical soundtracks. Mitchellhas built a database (based on listening) of almost 2,000 of the greatest musical theatre songs from over 500 musicals dating from 1905 to the present. Mitchell’s idea of a good time is to catch an afternoon and evening performance of the same show, just to notice what’s different, to watch 9 shows in six days in New York, or see the same show four times in a 30 day run just to see how the cast and show changes over the run.
